Tamika Hall, Mrs. Maryland Essence has been cast as the lead, Kim, in an upcoming Gospel play, "Preach the Word" written by Elder Treena Ringgold. With degree in Theater from Washington College, Tamika is at home on the stage and will be debuting her new play in October 2009, "Take What I Can Get!"
"I am so honored to have been cast as Kim, the preacher's wife in this new play," Tamika says with a smile. "I have four children and have been on a hiatus from the stage for four year. What is even more exciting is that my husband, a fellow thespian has been cast opposite me as Robert."
